Josep Marti Tor was the first to develop a unique formula that combined Proteoglycans with Vitamin C as a skincare solution.

MartiDerm was founded by Spanish chemist Josep Martí Tor. In 1952, he established his pharmacy in Barcelona, Spain and worked to develop the best formulas for complex skin cases. Josep was the first to develop a unique formula that combined Proteoglycans with Vitamin C as a skincare solution. 

In 1989, Josep Marti Tor packaged his unique formula in an amber glass ampoule and went to market. Using a darker hue of amber glass, MartiDerm ampoules protected Vitamin C from light exposure and oxidation. The MartiDerm ampoule design pioneered the packaging for skin care products, specifically those that contained Vitamin C, for its ability to preserve the effectiveness and longevity of Vitamin C. The formula helps eliminate wrinkles, stimulate collagen synthesis and improve skin elasticity, More importantly, Vitamin C was the essential antioxidant for the protection, repair and brightening of all skin types.

After the passing of Joseph Marti Tor, his family continued his legacy by further expanding MartiDerm's operations and pushing the brand to worldwide recognition. Today, with more than 65 years of skin health solutions expertise,

MartiDerm Essentials

MartiDerm Essentials is a line of products central to everyday facial skin treatment for all skin types. MartiDerm Essentials Micellar Cleansing Solution 3 in 1 and MartiDerm Essentials Micellar Cleansing Gel or MartiDerm Essentials Cleansing Foam work to remove from the face any impurities and and prepare it for the application of other cosmetic products. Using a cotton pad, the Cleansing Solution is applied and does not require extra rinsing. As an alternative to soap, Cleansing Gel and Foam products can be applied to skin and rinsed off using water.

Martiderm Acniover

Specifically for oily skin types, MartiDerm Acniover helps address acne-prone skin. MartiDerm Acniover Purifying Gel deep cleanses pores and removes excess oil. MartiDerm Acniover Serum regulates sebum build-up on skin while MartiDerm Acniover Active Cremigel reduces sebum production. The MartiDerm Acniover Stick Corrector conceals and treats acne.

Martiderm Pigment Zero

For pigmented skin types, MartiDerm Pigment Zero line of products helps prevent and reduce skin hyperpigmentations. For general spots, DSP Serum Brightening, MartiDerm Pigment Zero DSP-Cream SPF 50+ and MartiDerm Pigment Zero DSP-Renovation Cream are recommended to be used in the mornings. MartiDerm DSP Serum Brightening is the most recommended product to prevent blemishes. The active ingredient: phytic acid regulates melanin synthesis, prevents the appearance of dark spots and also reduces existing blemishes on the skin.

MartiDerm Hair System

MartiDerm Hair System products help with anti-hair loss and hair growth. The intensive treatment begins with the Hair Loss ampoules that contain MartiDerm's unique formula that stimulates and strengthens hair. The MartiDerm Hair System Anti-Sebum Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo contains salicylic acid that regulates sebum production on the scalp for those struggling with greasy hair. The MartiDerm Hair System Anti-Aging Anti Hair-Loss Shampoo contains hyaluronic acid and helps keep hair thick, strong and bonded to the scalp. Both MartiDerm Hair System Anti Hair-Loss Ampoules and MartiDerm Hair System Anti Hair-Loss Lotion are well suited to reinforce hair at the root of the follicle and help hair grow stronger. However, MartiDerm Hair System Lotion is recommended for oilier hair whereas MartiDerm Hair System Ampoules is better suited for normal and dryer scalps.  

MartiDerm Driosec

MartiDerm Driosec products solve the issue of excessive sweating and body odor control. MartiDerm Driosec Dermoprotect Roll-On and Martiderm Driosec Intensive Roll-On both work as antiperspirants and deodorizers, however MartiDerm Driosec Intensive Roll-On contains Aluminum/Zirconium, a compound used to block or prevent pores from sweating and used more for those suffering from excessive sweating. MartiDerm Driosec Gel can be used specifically to control excessive sweating from hands and feet.

MartiDerm The Originals

MartiDerm The Originals products are the crown jewel of the MartiDerm product catalogue and represented by the brand's fundamental line-up of ampoules with two key ingredients. 

The first key ingredient is proteoglycans: a protein molecule containing one or more attached glycosaminoglycan (GAG) chains and helps eliminate wrinkles, stimulate collagen synthesis and improve skin elasticity for all skin types.

MartiDerm Platinum products are an extended development of the MartiDerm The Originals product line-up of ampoules, creams and serums. For example, MartiDerm Platinum Photo Age HA+ Ampoules still contain proteoglycans however, a higher concentration of Vitamin C.

MartiDerm Platinum Night Renew Ampoules and MartiDerm Platinum Krono-Age Serum contain marine collagen, a type of protein produced from fish skin remains that are washed and hydrolyzed by acid and food enzymes. This ingredient helps restore skin collagen, hydration and firmness back to the skin.
