I woke up one day in excruciating pain, and the MRI confirmed my fears: my bowel was blocked, and surgery was likely. After visited by many surgeons and some scary young, Dr. Carlos took over my care. His calm, reassuring presence and sense of humor immediately put me at ease. He wasnt in a rush to operate and carefully planned my treatment, ensuring the best outcome, during surgery and post surgery. He is by the book, what you really need, something that I didnt experience on my last surgery at ParkView hospital 2 and half years ago.Dr. Carlos visited me twice daily, explained everything thoroughly, and even arranged for a PICC line to ease my discomfort. When surgery finally came, it was smooth, and it turned out my bowel was tangled due to adhesions, not disease. Dr. Carlos carefully cleaned everything up, and he remained dedicated, visiting me regularly and following up after I left the hospital.His professionalism, compassion, and humor were a godsend. I booked an appointment today for vaccination,I went to the doctor who gave the order to the nurse in the ambulatory team.The ambulatory nurse insisted on getting an invoice.i went back to the reception where they called n told her no need for the invoice.I returned back to her she asked me to wait here.when I asked her what I am waiting for,her answe was YOU DONT HAVE TO BE RUDE.
