We live in a fast-paced society while trying our best to balance the demands of work, life, family, and personal priorities. Feelings of sadness, anxiety, depression, and other negative emotions may be considered natural occurrences in our mind, however our bodies react and respond differently to these feelings, and over an extended period of time, can be damaging to our overall health and well-being. It is important to realize when we should seek professional help to address the mental stresses of life, and the negative thoughts that come along with it. More serious attention should be given to our mental health if we start having continued thoughts of self-harm, violence, and social isolation. Other serious behaviors to consider are eating and image disorders and mood instability.
Therefore, just as it is important to visit a doctor for our general health requirements, visiting a psychiatrist, who is also a medical doctor, is just as important in tackling our mental health issues. In an effort to help patients in Dubai find the right psychiatrist, we have compiled a short list of 10 psychiatrists in Dubai who are most frequently searched on DrFive and who are qualified to evaluate, diagnose and prevent mental disorders.
