Dr. Shymaa Raslan completed her BDS from Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University in 2003 and M.Sc. from Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University in 2011 with specialization in dental management of children with Autistic disorders and special needs. During her M.Sc studies, she practiced in special need care institute and received special training in the management of traumatic dental injury in children and adolescent.

She became Member of the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry in 2015 and Member of Egyptian Society of Paediatric Dentistry and Children with Special Needs in 2008.

She has more than 11 years? experience in Paediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Shymaa's areas of expertise includes conscious sedation and general anaesthesia practice, prevention of oral health problem, pit and fissure sealant, topical fluoride application, management of minor dental caries, pulp therapy for primary teeth with crown coverage, tooth colored restoration and interceptive orthodontics.

Dr. Shymaa can converse with her patients in Arabic and English.
