Dr. Maher is a member of the American Association of Endodontist (AAE), and the International Federation of Endodontists Associations (IFEA) since 1997.
He has numerous publications in the field of Endodontics and Operative Dentistry. He has over 24 years of government & private practice experience. He gives lectures both nationally and internationally.
Currently, he is working as a Consultant Endodontist & Implantologist in Dubai Police Health Centre and in his private clinic “AL Maher Medical Center”
- He first graduated as a Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) from The Dental School of Damascus University in 1988.
- One of the ten honorable mention scholars.
- He completed his 1st postgraduate degree, for two years full residency of high study diploma (DIP) in 1990 in operative dentistry.
- After that spent five years conducting comparative clinical research about Apexification and obtained a Master’s Degree (MDS).
- Graduated with honors in 1995.
- He obtained his Doctorate of Endodontics (PhD) from Damascus University & graduated with honor in 2006.
- He completed one year IMPLANTOLOGY DIPLOMA from BERN
University – Switzerland between 2001-2002.
- Earned 42 international advanced courses in his specialty (Cosmetic, Endodontology & Implantology)
- USA, Switzerland, Germany, Greece and Spain.
- He obtained His latest advanced IMPLANTOLOGY DIPLOMA from DANUB University- Austria in 2014.
- Obtained several Certificates of Excellence as an assistant professor in recognition for his teaching and research fellowship.
- Several certificates of excellence from Dubai Government for his outstanding performance and achievements.
- Volunteered as head of Emirates international Dental congress (AEEDC) social committee between 1995-1998.
