Dr. Rosalie Sant joined Primavera Medical Centre as a Consultant in Obstetric &Gynaecology after spending six years at Welcare Hospital, Dubai. She obtained her primary degree from the University of Malta and then proceeded to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, UK for specialist training. She obtained her MRCOG in 1998 and was also admitted as a member to the Royal College of Family Planning of the UK. Dr. Sant pursued her academic career in Germany and Switzerland where she undertook research in non-invasive pre-natal diagnoses. Her work was awarded a Ph.D. from the University of Basel, Switzerland and her doctorate theses won the Roche Prize of the year. She is now a Fellow of both the Royal College of Obstetrician & Gynaecologists and the European Board and College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Dr. Sant returned to the University Hospital in Malta to lecture both pre- and post-graduate students and to continue her practice of general Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She was instrumental in setting up a Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic offering state of the art expertise and treatment in this field.
In keeping with the progress in the specialty, Dr Sant developed a special interest in Gynaecological Endocrinology, especially the menopause and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and in minimally invasive surgery like laparoscopy, operative hysteroscopy and management of incontinence. She is particularly skilled in complex operative hysteroscopy.
Dr. Sant is is continually upgrading her skills through attending training courses in European Centers of Excellence and participation at international conferences. Despite her special interest in Gynaecology, she still remains loyal to her initial attraction to Obstetrics and regularly looks after both low & high risk pregnancies.

I had a completely normal pregnancy and delivery of my first born. 4 years after, I suffered two consecutive miscarriages, both in first trimester and both unexplained. I went from doctor to doctor to investigate before we could try conceiving again, but in vain. My best friend referred me to this gem of a doctor, Dr. Rosalie Sant. I can't recommend her enough! She is very structured, methodical and thorough in her approach. She would not put you through some medication and tests because the fraternity said so. She is very fact based and will put forward her prescription and treatment plan only if she is thoroughly convinced. She also values her peer review, from other specialists. The confidence she brings in and her approach is what I would highly recommend her for.

I have been with Dr Sant before, during and after my pregnancy and found her the best GYN in town! She's very competent, professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and takes time with her patients to actually explain things in detail and a warm personality. I was looking for gynaecologist for my wife and based on recommendation from friends we went to dr Rosalie Sant. Dr Rosalie Sant is an amazing doctor. Very knowledgable, gentle and very empathetic. Once during pregnancy my wife had to see doctor with some non-pregnancy related problem, staff booked appointment on the same day we called them and doctor examined her. Staff is very nice and friendly and really helpful. Recently Primavera even won price as best clinic. Based on my experience and after reading some very negative reviews evidently lying "rude staff", "doctor takes you as ATM" etc, either those guys didnt go to Primavera and Dr Rosalie Sant or those guys want to tarnish reputation of this clinic. If you want to have the best care for you and your baby I recommend you dr Rosalie Sant. After only one visit you will immediately know that you chose the right doctor - by Libor Duba

After leaving my home country and moving to Dubai 3 months pregnant, I had to say goodbye to my trusted Gynecologist/Obstetrician back home and find a new one here. After reading many reviews on which Dr to choose, we settled on Dr Rosalie Sant and I'm happy we did. She is patient, caring and extremely knowledgeable. She made all the time in the world for me and my husband and talked through every question we had. I decided to have an elective C-section and Dr Sant remembered and actioned every request I had discussed with her prior to the procedure. I healed very well and felt so safe in her hands.
