Laparoscopic Hysterectomy

Just want to say my deepest most sincere THANK YOU to Dr. Usha Kiran Talakere. I recently had a laparoscopic hysterectomy, removing the multiple large uterine fibroids, enlarged uterus and mildly thickened endometrium, preserving my ovaries. Dr. Usha is one of the BEST and TOP GYNECOLOGIST in Dubai. She is a very well experienced laparoscopic surgeon, approachable and most of all she will take good care of her patients professionally. Dr. Usha Kiran best gynaecologist in UAE

I recently underwent a hysterectomy (multiple large fibroids with uterus removal) at Prime Hospital, Garhoud through a recommendation of my local gynaecologist Dr. Meenu Mathur at Prime Medical Center, Nahda, Sharjah.Her recommendation of Dr. Usha Kiran as the expert surgeon was one of the best decisions of my life.Dr. Usha is the Best and most prolific gynaecologist and surgeon in UAE, and her managing my surgery meant I was in the safest hands in UAE!I cannot stop raving about the excellent services provided, right from registration to surgery to post surgery follow up, she took care of everything meticulously.Post surgery, she came personally to meet and explained to me how the surgery went, the complexity behind it and post care to be taken.I cannot thank Dr. Usha enough for the excellent service and care provided.

Best Gynaecologist

I had fibroids with very heavy bleeding.All the doctors I had consulted suggested to get my uterus removed and showed that it was my only option But when I met dr Usha Kiran she said its easy to remove only fibroids. Alhumdullilah I trusted her went for the surgery. Excellent doctor for any kind of gynaecology related issues.Also she provides her personal contact number and was available with any doubts or queries u get in ur mind Never forced into the surgery and also provided with alternative medicines till i made my mind for the surgery. This made me feel very comfortable.

I underwent Laparoscopy on 04/03/25 to remove my uterus due to fibroid(myoma). The entire surgery went well and was handled expertly.The next day I went home as if nothing happens to my body.She is absolutely great.

Despite being a busy surgeon with family and kids, Dr. Usha Kiran is an adventurous and lively person who has an interesting extracurricular life with activities such as high altitude trekking/mountaineering, skiing, fashion shows and charity community services.


Apart from her professional and academic achievements, she is passionate about trekking  and has not only trekked to Everest Base camp twice but also has climbed the tallest free standing mountain of the world, Kilimanjaro, not just once but twice in the last year and Machu Picchu the UNESCO  heritage mountain.


At the age of 57, she became the OLDEST INIDAN WOMAN and THE ONLY FEMALE DOCTOR IN UAE to have summited the World's 8th highest and 4th dangerous mountain, Manaslu in Nepal which is at a height of 8163 metres known as the dead zone, as human life cannot survive at this level without the help of additional oxygen.  


Dr. Usha Kiran is a living example of someone who believes age is no bar and believes in the infinite power of the mind and says if the mind decides to achieve something, nothing is impossible.


The first 50 years of her life were spent achieving family balance & professional excellence.


When she turned 50, she realized that she has so many desires and aspirations to venture into many unchartered area of her life; she calls the second half of her life as ' not the end but the beginning of a new journey   the second innings!'


She has not only climbed some of the tallest mountains of the world but also taken part in a Beauty Pageant at 56 years and won the 'Woman of Pride' title along with being the Platinum winner of the event.
