Dr. Azam Badar Khan is a renowned Knee Replacement surgeon based in Dubai with experience of more than 20 years.
Dr. Azam graduated from Nalanda Medical College and completed his Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Institute of Medical Sciences (BHU) in Varanasi, India.
He served as a Joint Replacement Surgeon in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi after completing his Post Graduation in Orthopedics from the Institute of Medical Sciences (BHU) in Varanasi, India.
He has further sub-specialized and obtained Fellowship in Pelvis and Acetabulum from Hospital for Special Surgery, University of Cornell, New York, USA. and Fellowship in Arthroplasty - Total Knee Replacement and Total Hip Replacement from the Russian Scientific and Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics R.R. Vreden Institute, ST. Petersburg, Russia.
He worked as a Specialist at Rashid hospital Trauma Centre, Dubai from 2008 to 2012.
Dr Azam is known for the latest techniques such as, CUSTOMISED PATIENT-SPECIFIC Knee Replacement Surgeries. He is also an authority in Stem Cell Treatments for Damaged Cartilage, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, other Knee Pathologies requiring Hyaluronic Acid intra-articular injection, Collagen type-2 supplement, Sports Injuries and Knee Arthroscopy.

I recently underwent total knee replacement surgery, and I am happy to share my positive experience with the outstanding care provided by Dr. AZAM BADAR KHAN and his dedicated team. Before the surgery, I was struggling with severe knee pain and limited mobility.I decided to entrust Dr. Azam with my total knee replacement and from the first consultation to the post-operative follow-ups, the Doctor and his team amazed me with the service and care. My concerns were easily solved once he gave me confidence by explaining all the procedures. The post-operative care I received was equally remarkable. The medical team, under Dr. Azams guidance, ensured my comfort and recovery every step of the way.Now, post-surgery, the pain that once dominated my days is now replaced with improved mobility. Thank you, Dr. Azam, for giving me a new lease on life

Dr Azam Badar, best doctor...
I got sports injury to my ankle and was taken to Dr Azam Badar Khan.Following physical examination and x Ray, he suggested for surgery. He was so kind,humble and friendly.Made me understand the current situation of my ankle.He always have the patience to listen us and properly explains the findings and root causes. Surgery war done on Dec 23, and by the grace of God everything went fine. Proper follow up was there and Doctor was always there to support.I would like to thank his team, specially Ms Puja and Megha for their support. With my experience, I would highly recommend Dr Azam Badar for any ortho related issues, Thank you doctor,Praying for healthy and long life..

Successful second ACL reconstruction
Im coming up to 1 week post op from an ACL reconstruction. After my first appointment I was worried that my knee could not be fixed as this was the second full tear in my right ACL. This meant that I needed a reconstruction of an existing reconstruction. Dr Azam and his team put me at ease from first meeting them, walked me through the recommended procedure and made me feel part of the process throughout. The day of surgery is pretty scary but I cant thank Dr Azam and the team at Prime Hospital enough for their care. Most importantly the surgery so far seems to have been a roaring success, constant communication from Dr Azam post op has helped me start to strengthen muscles already and keep me on track to getting back to full strength where I can play football again and never have the fear of not joining in with my son as he grows up too. I cant thank you enough.

Highly skilled and Amazing Surgeon
Alhumdulilah I was lucky enough to find Doctor Azam badar khan for my leg fracture treatment. He is very humble and expert in surgery at the same time. Everything has been going very well and smooth from start. Healing is actually faster than expected due to precise surgery done by Dr Azam and his team. They give extra attention and care to their patients

I was very happy with Dr Azams thorough and successful surgery. He was very hands on throughout the whole process and especially with the aftercare and recovery of the surgery. He is a very patient doctor and takes his time to thoroughly examine. Would highly recommend Dr Azam.
