Introduction to Dr. Hesham Al Khateeb
Dr. Hesham is a fellowship trained hip and knee surgeon specialising in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements and sports injuries. He completed his training in London on the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore rotation as well as the internationally renowned Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Western in Canada.
Dr Hesham has also trained at the ENDOKlinik in Hamburg and Harborview Hospital in Seattle gaining extensive experience in total knee and hip replacement surgery.
He worked as Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at King Hamad University Hospital in Bahrain and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland before joining Mediclinic City Hospital.. He has special interests in interest in hip arthroscopy, direct anterior total hip arthroplasty, hip resurfacing and uni-compartment knee arthroplasty.
Dr. Hesham has completed extensive research in orthopaedics and trauma and has received numerous awards including the NHS Innovation award and the Norman Capener Award from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has published and presented several research projects in international journals and meetings.
He is a member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in the UK, a member of the Faculty of Surgical Training, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

I was under Dr. Hesham's treatment for my shoulder fracture. Best doctor I have consulted to date. He gives time to his patients and makes them at ease. He genuinely cares for his patients - post my surgery, Dr. Hesham visited me on his way to the airport (he was heading with his family on vacations). Its been 7 months now and he continues to be in contact to know about the progress and well being of his patients. God bless him.

One of the best doctors for Knee replacement.
One of the best doctors I've had the privelage of visiting, he took good care of my mother and performed an amazing knee replacement surgery that has put my mom back on her feet confident. His follow ups are the best, he makes sure his patients get a personalized treatment and recovery plans for the best results.

ORIF Surgery - Dubai
Dr. Hesham is wonderful and very attentive surgeon. He performed an ORIF for my collarbone and also did the surgery for the remove it. All went smoothly. I would recommend him dearly.
