Dr. Tamer Mahmoud Abdel Rahman obtained his M.B.B.Ch with one year internship from Ain Shams University ? Faculty of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt. He later completed his M.Sc. Master Degree of Radiodiagnosis from the same institution. In 2006, Dr. Tamer completed first part of the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologist (FRCR) and completed part 2A in 2011.
Dr. Tamer has over 12 years of experience in the field of Radiology. He started his career as a radiologist in the hospitals of MOI Egypt, along with Co-instructor ?Under supervision of Prof. Dr. Omar Hussain, Prof. of Radio diagnosis, Ain Shams University, Cairo at Fontys Middle East in Cairo, Egypt. Fontys ME is a branch of Fontys University, Netherlands. He spent close to a year at Fontys before moving to Ahmed Maher, Al Haram, Heliopolis Hospitals in Cairo as a CT Primary Reporter.
Dr. Tamer gained valuable experience at Heliopolis Hospitals, before joining Misr University for Science & Technology, Cairo as Radiologist. In 2005 he joined Numais Polyclinic, Saudia Arabia as Radiologist. He gained 2 years? experience there before joining International Medical Center (IMC), Cairo as Radiology Specialist. Prior to joining NMC Royal Hospital, he worked at YIACO Adan Diagnostic Center in Kuwait as a Radiology Registrar.
He can converse with his patients in English and Arabic.
