Dr Jayanth Agrahara, completed his MBBS on merit from AIMS (Adichunchanajri Institute of Medical Sciences), Karnataka. He followed this with MS(General Surgery) & DNB(General Surgery) from Mysore Medical College. He obtained MRCS in General Surgery from Edinburgh, UK and is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), UK. He is also the member of National academy of medical sciences (MNAMS), a distinguished board of medical sciences in New Delhi, India. Dr Jayanth got his super specialization training M.Ch(Genitourinary Surgery) in Bombay Hospital,Mumbai.

He was awarded a certificate of merit for securing 10th rank in his MBBS final year in the Mysore University He was honored with the National merit scholarship by the Government of India for topping his SSLC exams and he also received the first prize for State Level Anatomy quiz. He has two years experience as an Anatomy Tutor at AIMS.

Dr Jayanths area of interest is Endourology, Uro-oncology, Transplantation Urology, Reconstructive Urology , Pediatric Urology, Laparoscopic & Retroperitoneoscopic in the respective subspecialities of Urology. In addition to basic surgeries like TURP, URS, PCNL he is also trained to perform radical surgeries like Radical Nephrectomy, Radical Cystectomy with Neo bladder reconstruction, and Radical prostatectomy

He has got numerous papers in national and international conferences to his credit.
