Experience
Dr. Clausson is a Swedish-trained consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology, who has spent the best part of her career as a consultant in the UK. She joined Mediclinic City Hospital in 2012.
In addition to clinical skills obtained in various European settings she has also performed research and was awarded a PhD from the faculty of Medicine, Uppsala University, Sweden in 2000 for research on foetal growth.
She has broad experience in all aspects of obsterics and gynaecology, with a particular interest in high risk obstetrics and colposcopy (managing women with abnormal smears). She also has experience in managing abnormal bleeding and hormone problems. She is a gynaecological surgeon, operating both laparoscopically and with open surgery if necessary.
She embraces the principles of natural birth and is happy to support women who want to deliver naturally with birth positions of their choice, but also recognises that women make different choices for childbirth and that a variety of options need to be available. She believes it is her function to support women and make their birth safe irrespective of what choices they make. For caesarean section she uses the technique sometimes referred to as ' natural caesarean section'.

Dr. Britt! Lovely friendly person , back
Dr. Britt amazing doctor! We were trying to have a baby for many years but unfortunately theres no luck for us, I changed so many doctors until we meet Dr.Britt! Lovely friendly person , back on 2015 and 2018 Two bridge babies both c-section both outstanding! And if she doesnt move to another hospital I will have third baby with her as well!

traumatic experience
In a nutshell, she refused to listen to my symptoms, frequently speaking over me and dismissing me, told me fainting from the blood loss on my period is normal, ridiculed my career choice and prescribed me a pill I was refusing as it hasnt worked previously. I left the appointment feeling completely dismissed, disregarded and with a panic attack. Also was ridiculed for my choice of degree? Extremely unprofessional and extremely dismissive and rude. Please save yourself the time from going to her. She refused to allow me to talk about my symptoms and failed to properly examine me.

Horrible monster.Once found out I didn’t
Horrible monster.Once found out I didnt want epidural she injected me with the sedative, stitched me unevenly, had repeated surgery to fix it. Stay clear from her!she should be in jail!

Excellent experience!
Very satisfied! Dr. Britt delivered my child in May 2019, we found her very straightforward and to the point. Very reassuring too especially for an overdue pregnancy but all expectations were well managed. Will not hesitate to recommend her.
