Dr Farooque got his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Health Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan. Afterwards he held several positions in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Trauma, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Medical Oncology, before moving on to Hair Restoration, where he is considered as one of the best Hair Transplant surgeons in that field.
When it comes to Hair Transplant surgery, Dr Farooque holds a very high honor of being one of the very few hair transplant surgeons from Pakistan who has acquired world class proficiency and experience by using ultra modern skills and technology on “FUE – Direct” an innovate system to ensure guaranteed density and safety as well as high quality of transplanted hair.
In addition to his robust experience, he has attended a number of hair transplant workshops in leading hair restoration clinics in Europe, where he has showcased his hair transplantation expertise in front of a live audience.
Due to his commitment to bettering the hair transplant industry, Dr Farooque recently participated as the medical advisor in developing a new recipient site-creating instrument, which creates three sites of equal depth, angle and distance, simultaneously. The instrument, known as “Smart Multisite Handle” has reduced by half the time and labor, besides achieving other advantages, during a hair transplant procedure.
