Dr Walid Othman is a British Board Certified Orthopedic Spine Surgeon with over 35 years of experience. Dr. Othman was the Clinical Lead in several hospitals within the United Kingdom for an accumulated period of 15 years. He has obtained his FRCSED from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and throughout his practice, gained particular interest in the management of spine deformities. He went on to join the Riyadh Armed Forces Hospital where he was one of the key founders of the first Spinal Surgery Unit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which he headed for over 10 years overseeing its growth and innovation. Met 2 dr for my L5S1 (buldge disc) Dr catalin/dr walid.. 1st visit with catalin it was 5 min talk he just recommended the epidural enjection and told me to google it to know more about it so I can decide if I want to do it.. after 2 days only I called back after googling it and took my decision, the hospital informed me that he went on leave (so maybe that's why he was in hurry with 5 min appointment, so excited to go on leave). So I booked with Dr walid he said what dr catolin has said and made me do the epidural.. after the enjection I was having a follow up with dr walid to know how it went.. but the pain was the same, and his reply was there is nothing I can do except if you want to go for a major operation were we will use screws and instead you have 3 discs it will be one.. my visit was 1 week back 20/07/2017. I don't recommend this hospital at all... meeting drs not knowing what to do. - by Mohamad Traboulsi
