Dr. Wagdy joined City Center Clinic in May 2015. After graduation from Alexandria University, he trained in Internal Medicine in Kuwait & United Kingdom mainly in Cardiology.
He joined Rashid Hospital in 1983 & had Gastroenterology as sub specialty, where he trained for 2 years & participated in establishing the Digestive Disease & Endoscopy Unit.
He built wide experience in all sorts of diagnostic & therapeutic endoscopy & liver disorders. He has performed about 24,000 upper & 14,000 lower diagnostic & therapeutic endoscopies. At City Centre Clinic, Dr. Wagdy established a well-equipped Digestive Disease unit with most recent Endoscopy Unit & made Video-Capsule Endoscopy available. He also introduced the Fibroscan for assessment of liver diseases.
