Introduction to Dr. Nageena Akhtar
Nageena Akhtar received her Master of Chiropractic degree (2006) and Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Proficiency(2007) from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Bournemouth UK. Her special interest is in neuro-developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders.
In her career as a chiropractor, Nageena has enjoyed providing chiropractic care to all ages, including babies and children, in the United Kingdom for over a decade and she has brought her wealth of knowledge here to the UAE for the past 5 years.
It was through her personal experiences with herfirstbornn, being diagnosed as speech and developmentally delayed, and the untimely deaths of her two sons in 2011 and 2016, to neurometabolic disease, that she developed a deep passion for helping all children, especially those with neurobehavioral and neurodevelopmental delays.
Dr. Nageena has successfully helped hundreds of children through intensively studying and researching known treatments for neurodevelopmental delays and autism spectrum disorders over the past 10 years.
Dr. Nageena has rigorously and continues to study several topics such as functional medicine, functional neurology, neurofeedback, primitive reflexes, behavioural interventions, Melillo Method, supplementation, functional neuroscience neuro-exercises, child development, brain stimulation, sensory-motor integration, diet & nutrition, and chiropractic techniques including cranial adjusting.
She recognized and applied the learned material/ knowledge and theories into practical approaches to children’s health and started applying them clinically.
Dr. Nageena is working closely with specialist therapists to provide the specialist integrated services to children that are urgently needed here in the UAE.
She is extremely excited about the amazing possibilities that an integrated approach using recent research and chiropractic interventions can provide to the lives of children in the UAE and worldwide.

I have artery pain and stiffness in jaw and face also neck and upper back pain due to adjustments when I was fine to begin with! Avoid her like the plague! I’m paying for it every second of my life. Taking time away from my family and can only work part time in agony. Thank you Nageena Akhtar for destroying my life and my family’s.
