Dr. Mathews J. Alapatt is a leading Internal Medicine specialist with a special focus to provide best diabetes treatment and care in Dubai. He practices a holistic approach for the treatment of diabetes, believing in the close link between an individual’s physical and mental well-being and the importance of preventative medicine and sustainable lifestyle changes.
Dr. Alapatt has a bachelor’s degree (MBBS) from prestigious St. Johns Medical College, Bangalore, India in 1985. Subsequently, he has completed Post Graduate studies (MD, General Medicine) from same college and MRCP in United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. Recently, He has completed his Master Degree (MSc.) in Diabetes from Cardiff University, United Kingdom.
Prior to joining at JTS Medical Centre, Dr. Alapatt was Head of the Department of Medicine at Mediclinic – Welcare Hospital, Dubai for 15 years and he was running a very busy inpatient and outpatient practice. Also, he has an excellent and impressive practice record based in India and United Kingdom.
At JTS medical Centre, Dr. Alapatt oversees all aspects of an adult patient’s healthcare — from outpatient primary care to preventive medicine to consultation to management of chronic health conditions.

A Brilliant Internal medicine with Dr wh
A Brilliant Internal medicine with Dr who treats patients with human touch .26 yrs before I met Dr mathew in Welcare who treated me for DVT .From then I have been under his medical care .A person who will listen to you n understand you before giving any medical advise is Dr Mathew.His assessment about patients medical problem is based on thorough investigations but not on assumptions.He is also very conservative in administering medicines and believes in treating patients with human touch which reflects his humble nature.I wish him best always .
