With over ten years of extensive plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery under his belt, Dr Kasem is raising the bar in the UAE with his highly progressive “laser” techniques. Being accredited with awards such as “Best Aesthetic Surgeon of the year” in 2013 to “Ambassador of Science Research” in Romania, Dr Kasem endeavors to educate the region on the latest laser technology which is less invasive than regular surgery.
Dr Kasem is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine of England and Fellow of the American Society of Plastic Surgery in addition to being Accredited by the University of Chicago in the plastic surgery field.
In 2014 he was declared by RADAR Media Awards as the Celebrity’s Aesthetic Surgeon, for the results and the innovation in the aesthetic field celebrity treatments.
Having held posts as “Head of Plastic Surgery” in a leading Romanian Hospital as well as owning his own private clinic, Dr Kasem is thoroughly excited about entering the UAE Market. Dr Kasem looks forward to welcoming existing and new patients in the newly opened and highly renowned Amina Hospital in Ajman where he will be performing all consultations and procedures.
Dr Kasem is a firm believer in using methods which will alleviate post-surgery trauma and he is a firm believer in educating his patients and offering many alternatives prior to undergoing invasive major surgery. Dr Kasem is renowned for his open and honest “Q and A” Sessions and looks forward to visiting many local Universities and Ladies Clubs to answer all questions from ladies of the region. He prides himself on his personal connection with patients and never allows anyone to enter into major surgery without exploring the rationale behind why the patient wants the procedure. He ensures the patient is comfortable and will never carry out a procedure just because someone wants it, if not required. Ethics are paramount as well as open and honest pre and post conversations for this cosmetic surgeon.
Organic Fillers and implants are some of the exciting new products he will be using in Sharjah Corniche Hospital and both the team and region are particularly excited to learn more about the highly effective, less invasive and fast recovery laser liposuction techniques.
