Many, many moons ago, during the Indus Valley Civilization (BC 3000), a council of Vaidyas – traditional doctors - from different regions, each representing various concepts of traditional medicine convened in the Himalayas. There were Vaidyas’ from South, North, Central Asia; they gathered to compose a Life Science, Ayurveda, combining the excellent aspects of apiece regional wisdom. The sacred knowledge of Ayurveda was taught from generations to the present Vaidya in its purest form as a part of culture and daily life. Ayurveda is a science dealing not only with treatment of diseases, but, is a complete way of life. This system of Health stresses on the prevention of body ailments in addition to curing them. The Vaidya tradition distills 5000 years of Ayurvedic wisdom into a system of practice for health & longevity.
