Pain is only and indicator that there is a malfunction within the bodies structural integrity causing imbalance and uneasiness. Once the biomechanical chain is broken a cascade of problems may arise. It is the job of a chiropractor to detect and correct these structural imbalances. The primary imbalance that we must resolve in every patient is found within the spine itself. These spinal misalignments are called vertebral spinal subluxations. Once the spine is free and clear of spinal subluxations then balance can be achieved throughout the body. Other issues such as headaches, shoulder pain, sciatic pain and other problems will much more easily be corrected once alignment and balance are restored.
