This healthcare facility quickly became a successful venture as it was affordable for both Bahrainis and expatriates who needed a competent medical service provider in Bahrain. After the successful launch of the KIMS Bahrain Medical Center, KIMS Holding Company (KHC) was formed which is now registered in Bahrain as a BSC(c) company. KHC is the investment arm of the KIMS group in the GCC. Through KHC, several investors including KIMS, India, and a number of Bahrainis and other Arabs, have jointly invested to form a chain of healthcare institutions in the GCC countries. Currently the group is operating a 55 bed multi-specialty hospital in Muscat- Sultanate of Oman, and several medium and large medical centers in Al Wakra – Qatar, Jubail and Riyadh – Saudi Arabia and a medical centre in Dubai – UAE.
