Dr.Charafeddin is a Spanish trained ophthalmology specialist. He gained his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, before moving to Barcelona to complete his postgraduate training in Barraquer Ophthalmology Institute. Working in multiple teaching hospitals in Spain, USA and Mexico, Dr.Charafeddin gained a wide range of experience in general ophthalmology, medical and surgical retina. He is particularly dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration and congenital retinal diseases. Dr. Charafeddin joined Mediclinic after working for many years in hospitals in different countries. He believes that compassion and honesty are key elements in providing good patient care in any health institution.
