Dr. Shamma Khalifa Al Mazrouei started her journey in the Medical Field in early 2000?s and completed her Family Medicine Residency in 2012. Due to her outstanding performance during the program, she was invited to become a Core Faculty Member in 2013 and had received several awards for it in 2014. At 2015, she was appointed as Healthcare Center Manager for Al Rowda Clinic. She has continued to excel in healthcare management and leadership and was consequently selected to take on the Healthcare Centers Director role in April 2016. At present, she is the Center Manager for Al Bateen Healthcare Center and the Healthcare Centers Director for a total of 13 ambulatory care centers in Island and Middle Regions of Abu Dhabi.
The Ajyal program (The well child general screening) has been implemented in the Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) children?s specialty centers in both Al Mushrif Children?s Specialty Center in Abu Dhabi and in Al Towayya Children?s Specialty Center in Al Ain. The program is established based on the highest international standards designed to ensure sound and outstanding healthcare outcomes for all children, through precise early screening, diagnosis and treatment of diseases before the occurrence of complications and health consequences.
The Ajyal program covers ages 2 to 6 and is divided into 6 visits, one visit each year. During each visit the child?s physical, psychological, emotional and social growth as well as his/her communication and mental skills are carefully examined and monitored.
The journey of the child?s screening?s visit consists of the following stations; Nursing, Physician, Vision, Hearing, Laboratory, Dental, Pharmacy and Dietitian.
