Dr. Ranjan Basu completed his MBBS in 1987 and subsequently his MD (Internal Medicine) in 1990 from the prestigious Grant Medical College in Mumbai in India.
Subsequently, Dr. Basu became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, UK (MRCP).
Prior to Joining NMC Healthcare in 2001, Dr. Basu had worked in Bombay Hospital in Mumbai and subsequently in the Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Oman.
Dr. Basu has attended many Conferences and Seminars. He has experience of teaching Undergraduate students for 2 years, during the course of his MD and also after that. He has good expertise in treating Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Connective tissue disorders, Infectious diseases and Respiratory related diseases. Primary contribution of Dr. Basu is providing Compassionate health care to both Outpatient and Inpatients. He is an active member of the Pharmacotherapeutic Committee of NMC Specialty Hospital Abu Dhabi.
