Dr. Paul completed his MBBS from the SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Utkal University in 1988, India with Gold Medal in Eye & ENT .He then received a proficiency certificate in 1998 in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) from the Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services, Ministry of Defense, India. He went on to complete his Masters in ENT (MS) from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India in 1999.
Dr. Paul has extensive experience across India and the Middle East. In India, he practiced in the Army initially as a Medical Officer from 1988 to 1995 and then from 1999 onwards practiced as ENT Consultant in various Army hospitals. He went on to become an Associate Professor in ENT at the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune till he relinquished the position in 2011. He is a post graduate teacher in ENT of repute and actively involved in research & teaching activities .Post that, Dr. Paul moved to the Middle East where he joined a private hospital in Abu Dhabi as an ENT Specialist in 2011. In 2012, he assumed the additional responsibility of Medical Director of the Hospital.
Dr. Prabir Paul has more than 29 years of experience in his field. He is an active member of professional bodies such as Pune ENT association as well as the Pune Head and Neck Association. He has attended several national & international conferences as a delegate and faculty & also been a speaker and served as chairman of several scientific committees. He has also established a Speech Therapy Center in India for hearing challenged children for which he was recommended for the Special Services Award.
