Dr. Mithun Roy completed his MBBS from Kottayam Medical College in 2001 and MS ENT from Patna Medical College in 2006. He was a Gold medalist in the MS ENT Examination conducted by Patna University.
Prior to joining NMC, Dr. Mithun worked at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kerala, India as an Assistant Professor where he perfected his skills of using angled scopes and navigation, adding new approaches for ear surgeries to his armamentarium. He was also in charge of the Otology clinic.
Dr. Mithun also worked at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore which is ranked the second best institute for medical education in India. He practiced at CMC as an Assistant professor for three and half years (2006 to 2009) during which he was also the in charge of the voice clinic.
Dr. Mithun has attended several conferences and workshops to constantly upgrade his skills and expertise. He also has over 6 national publications to his credit.

Endoscopic Nasal Surgeries: Functional endoscopic sinus surgeries (FESS), Septoplasty, turbinectomy and polypectomy
