Dr. Juliane Reuter is a renowned German board certified specialist in Dermatology working in Dubai since the beginning of 2010. Before coming to the UAE she spent nine years of her career at the University Clinic in Freiburg, Germany, focusing on general dermatology for children and adults as well as dermatologic surgery.
Specialty
Dr. Reuter is specialised in providing advanced dermatological care to both adults and children with a strong emphasis on counselling and educating her patients about skin diseases, treatment and prevention according to German standards.
She is also providing aesthetic dermatological procedures designed to enhance the skin’s appearance through the latest techniques in aesthetic dermatology and laser medicine.
Special Expertise
Apart from the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases and dermato-surgical procedures of medical and cosmetic nature, Dr. Reuter is specialised on melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer prevention, treatment and education. Utilizing advanced, innovative technologies of German standards, our dermatologist is especially experienced in digital dermoscopy and skin imaging known as “Mole Mapping”.
Mole Mapping is a unique, non-invasive and completely painless technique to detect skin cancer at the earliest stage. The procedure involves a complete body skin examination with a dermoscopic screening of every mole on the body with a subsequent digital imaging of suspicious moles and a final technical computer analysis of the suspicious potential of the moles. Thereby, moles can be systematically monitored over time for any sign of activity.
Dr. Juliane Reuter's specialty is Dermatology and currently works as a Dermatologist.
She speaks English, German.

Self-verified patient of Dr. Juliane Reuter
wrote a review 9th Oct 2019
I went to see Dr Reuter for a variety of Dermatology-related issues and when i finished with the 1st (shingles) she seemed in a rush for me to leave. As i got through the others (vertical line beneath a toe-nail which I read could be cancer related, moles which I wanted to check if they needed removal, acne on my face and chest) the feeling she gave me to hurry up and get out was overwhelming. She even told me that my acne issue "was nothing major" and asked me if I traveled much. I thought she was going to tell me that travelling could have caused my bad skin but she instead prescribed a wash she said is only sold in Germany. I left feeling like I didn't get the explanations I needed and the consultation fee was definitely undeserved. Because I was so rushed I had to phone the clinic right after leaving to ask the Dr how long I need to stay away from my kids for because shingles is contagious but the nurse told me I couldn't speak to the Dr on the phone and that they would ask my question to the Dr and call me back. They didn't and I had to keep calling to get my answer. My entire experience was unacceptable.
