UK educated Dr Alero Adjene has many years of experience in some of London?s world-renowned centres of endocrinology and she is adept in treating a range of endocrine disorders such as thyroid and bone disease. Dr Alero has a special interest in Type 1 diabetes, insulin pump therapy and diabetic foot disease. Education has also featured prominently for Dr Alero since she joined ICLDC. Her work has been presented at international meetings while she has also sought to help the region?s medical professionals with teaching on ICLDC?s MRCP exam preparation course and Diabetes Educator course. Dr Alero is also an educational supervisor on ICLDC?s Fellowship Training Programme. Her passion for education extends across continents too as Dr Alero has worked with the UK?s Royal College of Physicians on teaching visits to Africa.
