Chlamydia?
Chlamydia is caused by bacteria called Chlamydia trachomatis. It can infect both men and women. Chlamydia doesn't usually cause any symptoms. So you may not realize that you have it. People with chlamydia who have no symptoms can still pass the disease to others. If you do have symptoms, they may not appear until several weeks after you have sex with an infected partner.
Syphilis (TPHA)?
Syphilis is a bacterial infection usually spread by sexual contact. The disease starts as a painless sore — typically on your genitals, rectum or mouth. Syphilis spreads from person to person via skin or mucous membrane contact with these sores.
Herpes Simplex Virus-2 (HSV-2)?
HSV-2 can cause sores around the genitals or rectum. A person can only get herpes type 2 infection during sexual contact with someone who has a genital HSV-2 infection.
HIV?
HIV stands for human immunodeficiency virus. It weakens a person’s immune system by destroying important cells that fight disease and infection. Certain body fluids—blood, semen (cum), pre-seminal fluid (pre-cum), rectal fluids, vaginal fluids, and breast milk—from a person who has HIV can transmit HIV.
Hepatitis B (HBV)?
Hepatitis B spreads by contact with an infected person's blood, semen, or other body fluid. An infected woman can give hepatitis B to her baby at birth.
If you get HBV, you may feel as if you have the flu. You may also have jaundice, a yellowing of skin and eyes, dark-colored urine, and pale bowel movements. Some people have no symptoms at all.
Hepatitis C (HCV)?
Hepatitis C is a disease that causes inflammation and infection of the liver. Approximately 70 to 80 percent of people with hepatitis C don’t have symptoms. Some people report mild to severe symptoms such as fever, dark urine, loss of appetite, abdominal pain or discomfort, joint pain, jaundice. Hepatitis C is transmitted through blood-to-blood contact with someone infected with HCV.
